How to punch without hurting your wrist or hand?

I am more than likely gonna get in a confrontation with a certain person that goes to my school. How do i punch without hurting myself. I would also rather not hold something in my hand.|||Use an open palm thrust. Start from below pushing your palm forward and up towards the sky and hit him on the tip of his nose, while using your other hand to protect your head. Use the base of your palm, not the whole palm. That will blind him for a second or two (because of all the nerves that are in the nose). Even if you miss and hit the jaw it won't hurt you too much but it will cause him quite a bit of pain. Do not use the palm thrust too often though or you might damage your arm.

After that follow up with an elbow strike to the temple (side of the head). The elbow is one of the hardest parts in your body so you don't have to worry about injuring yourself. The elbow strike should knock him down to the ground and disorientate him, if not knock him out completely. After that the fight is over, so don't go crazy on the guy, you've already won.|||when you make a fist tuck your thumb in on the outside of the first two knuckles, it will keep you from dislocating your wrist when you punch, use the first 2 knuckles( index and middle knuckle) when striking because if you don't do that you'll injure your knuckles.|||There are no wrists in boxing. If punching correctly the only bone you should break is your clavicle.

Keep your wrists straight, any bend will be incredibly painful. But if you'd like throw elbows, they hurt just as bad, if not worse plus they tend to cut and blood frightens most people.|||When you punch, try to punch with your thumb on top and wrist slightly down. when you punch, dont twist your wrist.|||well. i don't really know. but you can do push ups with closed fists, they will strengthen your wrists.
