Has anyone used a punch bowl to serve a really big salad? How many servings did it hold?

I have two matching punch bowls that I could chill that would be very pretty on a buffet, I think. I wonder how many servings of salad would one hold? I have a pasta, lettuce, chicken fluffy salad I am serving to about 40 ladies.|||That is a great idea. As far as how many servings....it depends on what type of salad. The lettuce salad would probably be fine for 40. However, chicken salad would need a smaller bowl. That size bowl of chicken salad would probable serve 100 people. It only takes one big scoop to make a sandwich. It would probably work great for the pasta salad, too.|||Are talking a green salad or something like Potato salad ,now if a green salad maybe 12 servings but a potato salad would hold maybe 25-35 servings!
