How do I teach Fire Punch to Ampharos through breeding?

Okay so I know he can learn it through the Movetutor in Emerald but the problem is that don't have that game. I'm playing soul silver and ihave Platinum as well. How can I teach it fire punch? Would it be possible with the heart scale tutor? If not, which pokemon learns fire punch through leveling AND can breed with ampharos? Many thanks in advance. Oh and I have a DSi so I can't go and get Emerald.|||Heart Scale Tutor is a Move Relearner. He only teaches Pokemon moves that they could have learned from leveling up. This is possible since Ampharos lists Fire Punch as a "Level 1" attack. However, you cannot do this at the lower stages since they don't list Fire Punch as such an attack.





Since Mareep cannot learn Fire Punch, there is no way to breed Fire Punch as an egg move to Ampharos. Regarding egg moves, if the lowest stage cannot learn it as an egg move, the higher stages cannot get it from breeding.





Additionally, you can go to a Move Tutor in SoulSilver or Platinum to get the attacks. In Platinum, the tutor is on Route 212 and requires 6 Blue Shards and 2 Red Shards. In SoulSilver, the tutors are in the Battle Frontier, all in the same house. It will cost you 64 BP though.|||http://xat.com/pokemonhomelands
