|||Start slow, maybe with the Special Olympics. Then work your way up to hitting women. After a few of these matches, box somebody your own size, get whooped, and go back to needlepoint.|||accept your fear. fear is good. instead of developing a stronger "haymaker" develop you mind so you are smart and clever enough to stay far away from the situation that may lead to "boxing." boxing is just a prelude to knives and guns. utltimately, the smallest and weakest boy in the crowd could kill the toughest boxer with a razor or a gun.

That isn't the first punch you want to learn.|||Read all you want on the internet, ask questions all you want, and none of that will help you. Join a martial arts club and PRACTICE getting hit and hitting back. Then you'll be fine.
