Do you know of any products or even home remedies for getting fruit punch out of the carpet?
We are renting the house so this isnt good news at all.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!|||a product called Folex. comes in a spray bottle. It has never failed me. Even got dried blood out of a seatbelt. I get it at home depot.|||Well, if it's dried, you're pretty much screwed. Use a carpet cleaner and a scrub brush and a lot of elbow grease and hope for the best.
Or, you can try what I told a friend once to get out red wine stains-rub a chocolate bar on it until the stain is covered. When she asked me how to get the chocolate stain out of her carpet, I told her to pour red wine over it. Come to think of it, I haven't heard from her since then. I wonder how she is.
Come on, scrub the carpet!!! And what do "professionals" know, anyways!!!|||Club soda straight from the bottle. Pour a bit on, let it bubble and then dab up with a clean towel. My friend's mom took red Kool Aid stains out of her oriental rug this way and I removed green popsicle stains from my car upholstery.|||Oxiclean powder gets almost ANYTHING out. I love the stuff. Give it a try.|||If the punch was just spilled and is still a wet stain dump salt all over the stain right away. Let it remain on the spill to absorb the punch and then vacuum the salt off of the carpet. Most of the punch will be removed this way if you catch it immediately.
Do not scrub at the carpet. You will either get the stain embedded further into the fibers or cause wear in the area of the spot. You don't want to cause a bigger problem than you started with.
If the punch stain has dried call a professional carpet cleaner.
I hope it all comes out OK!|||small amount of dawn and water brush in to carpet the wet and towel blot dry
