I'm 6 foot 2, 200 lbs, but i want a stronger, more effective punch. How can I build it without punching bags?|||Atlas pushups target your entire pecs, stronger pecs/shoulders/back/everythingelsethatth鈥?punching power. It's really good. two chairs, about a foot apart. Do a pushup until the front of your chest dips below the chairs. Add some chinups, pullups, and squats to that and you'll have lots of muscle in no time.|||try a lighter more precise punch it'll do more damage.|||do more core exercises for your abs since thats where a lot of your power comes from anyway. and try doing pushups on your knuckles to get some nice ***-kicking calluses|||using your hips can greatly increase your punching power. use your hips as a pivot which you can turn off your back heel and swing forward with your punch.
forearm workouts also increase your punch strength.
and that guy talking about getting lots of muscle it has nothing to do with it, look at bruce lee. he wasnt huge he was a very strong man. look at the workouts he did and you see that he emphasized forearm training, he even pioneered grip exercises to workout your forearms.
when exercising remember the golden rule; repetition increases strength, weight increases mass
