How could I finish this story with a good punch?

For my english class, i have to finish a text already given with a good punch, and i really am out of ideas.


The text is about a guy who is very lonely and doesn't like talking to others, and everytime he receives mail, it's always bills but one day, he receives a letter adressed to him, and its not a bill. At first, he doesn't want to open it but after a week he decides to open it.


And now i have to continue the text and have a punch at the end. Any ideas about what the letter's subject could be?

a letter issuing a complaint from the community (for something he didn't do)
